We did find some time to play a round of frisbee golf at the local park....Laura got beaten again, despite having taught Ultimate Firsbee in a former life at Banchory Academy PE department! I also made it out on my bike for the first time since arriving - nothing special just a 6.5 mile loop around the park on their mountain bike trails. It was VERY different to Scottish cycling as there were just lots of little steep hills to climb and descend rather than one big mountain! You also have to be a bit careful when cycling along to look for snakes.....not something that is usually a big issue back home!
This is what a "hole" looks like in Frisbee golf. The idea is to get from the "Tee" to the "Hole" in as few throws as possible......harder than it looks!

Whilst out on the bike I happened across a pretty odd spectacle...it was two guys playing Frisbee golf but they had what looked like a purpose built trolley to carry their selection of Frisbee's (about 10 in total) around the course.....only in America! I didn't check, but in true 'murican fashion I bet the trolley was made in China.....
We also went to a design / reclamation show in downtown Houston with Matt and Melissa. There was some pretty cool stuff - tables made out of old industrial factory equipment and lockers galore.....nothing even remotely in my price range though!
But afterwards we did happen upon a cupcake shop in Rice Village that was pretty awesome!
Lucy (Matt & Melissa's dog) particularly liked the 4 that she stole over night!
...until she spewed them up all over the game room floor. There should really be a supplemental post diagramming the circuitous route my wife took through the house to subsequently vomit in all restrooms available.
